What data we process and why
This website has no forms or user accounts. We only process data in these three cases:
| Processing | Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Browsing and security | IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and referring page, logged by the servers on each visit. | Serving the website, keeping it secure and detecting abuse. | Legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (art. 6.1.f GDPR). | 90 days. |
| Analytics (only if you accept) | Online identifiers (Google Analytics cookies), pages viewed, visit duration, device type and browser, and approximate location (city level). | Measuring visits in aggregate and improving the website. | Your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. | The period configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months. |
| Communications | Your name, email address and whatever you include in your message, if you write to us. | Replying to you and handling your request. | Our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries we receive (art. 6.1.f GDPR); if you ask about our services, taking pre-contractual steps (art. 6.1.b GDPR); and, if you exercise your rights, compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR). | As long as needed to handle your request and, afterwards, for the limitation periods of any possible liabilities. |
In Google Analytics, Google Signals and advertising features are disabled: the data is used only for statistics about this site. We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. The following providers process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which host the website.
- Cloudflare, Inc., the delivery and security network that visits go through.
- Google Ireland Ltd., for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our email provider, for the messages you send us.
International transfers
Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which both companies have adhered and which is covered by the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, and, as an additional safeguard, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Write to [email protected] stating the right you wish to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it.
We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests; in that case we will let you know within the first month.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of all connections to the website (HTTPS) and restricted access to server logs.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process your data, we will update this policy and its date.
